At Rhodes Ranch Golf Club, RJ Arone, Haram Lee, Alexa Hart and Nicholas Horodesky won titles at the 2024 Nevada State Junior Amateur. For Arone, it was his third-straight title.
“This one feels even better,” Arone said, the Boys 15-18 winner and a Univ. of Michigan commit. Arone defeated Kris Huang on the second playoff after the two tied at -9. “This was my ninth tournament day in a row, so my parents were like, just throw yourself in there and try to get the three-peat. I’m like, all right, I’ll be warmed up by then. But it’s a really great feeling the win back to back to back.”

For Lee, she dazzled everyone by finishing at -10 for the three rounds.
“It feels great to win by 10,” lee said. “I shot 10 under for three days. It feels really awesome. I shot my lowest six under in one day today. It feels great to win in Nevada where I live right now. I’m honored to be the champion and I’ll work hard to win more tournaments in the future.”
